The Voice of God (Part 2: How I Know I Hear The Voice of Christ)

It is written, “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

What do I hope for by faith that I cannot see?  To hear the voice of Christ.

What is my assurance and evidence of this?

The very words of Christ.

“For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world:  to bear witness to the truth.  All who are of the truth hear my voice.”

“Set them apart in this world by your truth.  God’s word is truth.”

As a follower of Christ, I am set apart by my faith in the truth: 

God’s Son is the way, THE TRUTH, and the life.   
God’s Spirit is truth. 
God’s word is truth.

I am of the truth.
This is my assurance and evidence that I hear the voice of Christ.

But the devil is the father of lies, the one who speaks lies as a native language.   I don’t hear or heed Satan's voice because I have been separated from his matrix of deceptions.

I actually and genuinely want the truth, whether I like it or not, whether I agree with it or not.

I am of the truth.

Therefore I hear the very voice of Christ.

If you want only the truth, you hear the voice of Christ as well.
