It is written in the word of God, in Paul's letter to the Roman Christians,
"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist have been appointed by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authority brings judgment on himself."
Now, how does this "apply" to Independence Day?
The "founding fathers" rejected their king. Why? Unjust taxes? Religious oppression?
And what about the natives and their freedom to resist the oppression of the founding fathers?
"That's different, they were savages!!"
Is that right? Maybe the King of England thought the "founding fathers" were savages for rejecting his civilized rule!!
But what does the word of God say to do with ungodly authorities?
WAIT A MINUTE?
I just thought of something...
Was good ole' Great Britain also a "Christian Nation," founded on "Judeo Christian Principles?"
I don't know if anyone would go THAT far.
But it seems like the English thought it was their "manifest destiny" to spread Christianity.
So, one Christian nation sends a missionary "delegation," that ends in rebellion, and forms another "Christian Nation," one that attempts to destroy an entire civilization, and to erase the ethnic identity of yet ANOTHER far away nation....how is any of this "Judeo Christian?"
